Tears of understanding
The four sat in silence.
Words seemed only as whispers from afar.
James seated next to Bohai, reached out to touch his hand of wisdom. Bohai accepted it in understanding.
The four joined as if a bridge from far across time had been built only for them to travel.
A tear forming in the corner of Chunhau’s eye was all too familiar to Melanie. It was the tear of Marie Antoinette that she would see many years from now. The tears of understanding of what was to be.
With hands entwined memories flowed effortlessly between them.
James and Melanie’s travels through time, the experiences of their lives became as real to Bohai and Chunhau as if they were there with them.
What Chunhau could see of the future of the world in 2020 troubled her deeply.
Turning to Melanie, a single tear rolled down her cheek.

I vow to you Chunhau; I will take your love and beauty with me as I travel along the future road of my life. I will spread your love like flower petals on that road for others to follow.”} Melanie comforted her.

We are the custodians of some of the most exquisite examples of hand carved artistry from 200 years ago,. These were commissioned by King George III of Great Britain & Ireland for Queen Charlotte in 1780.
