Brothers in Arms
The mist settled over the damp grass in Central Park as James felt at one with the world in the 18th century he had visited.
The pendant around his neck was his portal to travel once more back in time.
He could hear Robert Robertson call out to him to again join with the Jacobite highlanders in the struggle for Scotland’s independence.
He would heed the call.
He closed his eyes to travel back to 1745 and once more stood shoulder to shoulder with his brothers in arms as Alexander Robertson gave the order to battle.
May we never again have to lay down our blood by the loch.
Stand proud my brothers for ‘Scotland the Brave’
