Loveless for so long.

It was hard to imagine how those first 7 years of marriage as a 14-year-old girl in 1770 were for Marie Antoinette in what was a politically arranged marriage. Melanie reflected on how she had fallen so helplessly for James and how it had been for them.

The story had always been the same; love forever.

A love from first sight in 2009 to one sworn in love at the Palace of Versailles in 1789

James held her all night as if it were the very first time.

“Be brave my love. Marie needs you to tell her story.” James whispered as their eyes closed.

“Tell her story with the love you have for her.”
