The journey from Canton to New York

Melanie sat with Bohai holding his hand as she told him of how his exquisite art had travelled from his humble siheyuan in China in 1775 to her home in New York in 2020 and how his legacy had lasted throughout the ages.

Melanie explained.

{“Bohai.”} Melanie explained. {“When the Queen received your exquisite pieces in 1780, she would spend many nights with them playing cards with her closest friends well into the night.”}

{“In 1780 her life was very troubled with the sickness of her husband King George III and it gave her great comfort to play music and laugh with her courtiers.

The King became increasingly ill and the Queen would spend much of her time alone.

Your art gave her much joy. You gave her a love for all that came from the silk road.”}

{“In 1818 when she passed to the next life, her son the Prince of Wales (George IV) sold her personal possessions and that is where chingdynastycollection.com finally found them.”}

{“James my husband. bought the piece you now hold in your hand from them.

It has changed our lives and it is your artistic legacy that we honour.”}

{“The living legacy of the art you created now stands in the Palace of the Queen; your exquisite creations have survived to be celebrated for the last 260 years.”}

Bohai smiled, bowed his head and said

{“May the universe give me the wisdom to understand its meanings and guide me to know my own reason.

Thank you, Melanie Osborne, from my future and for answering my question.”}

Chunhau sat in silent meditation gathering her art and playing her heart. While the wind and its chimes accompanied her.
